About Us

Saurabh has two missions in his life – to see INDIA and to make every camera owner a great photographer. He has travelled far and wide across the country capturing the flavour of the place he visits. He has been trained in Photography by German Photographer – Barbara Bechloff and holds a certificate in Basic Photography from Osmania University and Advanced Photography from City of Glasgow College, UK . He was awarded UPI Diploma in Photojournalism in HAN PIJESAK 2013 organised by ARTPHOTO in city – “Han Pijesak” in the country “Bosnia and Herzegovina”. In January 2014, he was selected to work with two German Photographers – Else Gabriel and Andreas Rost on a fully sponsored project to document the Role of Fisherwomen in Kasimedu village, Chennai. He also holds a Certificate for Experential Education and Practices and Explorers Schools. He is an Eco-volunteer for Karnataka Eco-tourism. He also holds a certificate on Adventure Camp Leadership Training from ACAP (Adventure Club of Andhra Pradesh). Saurabh guides passionate and aspiring photographers at SIA Photography through his workshops. He has trained more than 3500 enthusiasts over the past four years. He has conducted workshops at many multinational companies like Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Mumbai, Mytrah Energy, Hyderabad, United Health Group, BHEL, Laqshya Media(Hyderabad), Novartis Healthcare(Mumbai and Hyderabad), Sterling Infosystems(Mumbai). He has also conducted courses on Photography in colleges – BITS Pilani, (Hyderabad), VIT Vellore (Vellore), SRM University, Chennai and Koti Women’s College, Panineeya Mahavidyalaya Institite of Dental Sciences and Research Center, Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad and schools – Oakridge International School and INDUS International School, CHIREC Public School. He is an official trainer for SONY SLTs at Byas Academy of Photography. He is also involved in various volunteering activities with several organizations like Art for Causes, Teach for India, Rang De, P3PA and Calalyst. His works have been published in several national and international publications including the National Geographic Traveller, Lonely Planet, Timeout Explorer (UK), Schmap (Ireland), India Coffee Table book (Poland), The National (Dubai), Dromedar (Slovakia), etc. He is a regular contributer to Deccan Herald, Deccan Chronicle, Discover India, Timeout Explorer, FEMINA, Jetwings International travel magazine, Maharashtra Ahead, the official magazine of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, Government of Maharashtra, Coffee Table on India – 29 Indias One Nation. Saurabh was featured in The Hindu, Indian Express, The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, Indian Eagle Travel Beats travel portal and Go Hyderabad Magazine.
