Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Bellary

The trust was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Late. Smt. Basavarajeswari, Former union Minister and Founder Chairperson of the Trust, whose vision was to provide quality education in Science, Engineering, Management and Technology with the goal of uplifting people in the backward region of Northern Karnataka.

Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Ballari was the first premier private co-educational Polytechnic established in the year 1992 to provide quality technical education, affording young men and women the opportunity to quip themselves for employment.

The Institute is recognised by the Government of Karnataka, the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore.
