Nugawela Central College

Nugawela Central College, situated in a fine environment in Harispatthuwa area in the historic Kandy District, is an education institution which has produced eminent citizens of Sri Lanka. This school which was started in 1944 has produced all the challenges and has become a leading school in the area as well as in the whole island. Today the 14th day of September, 2010, we have succeeded in crossing the horizon and reaching all other parts of the world.

This will enable our illustrious sons and daughters to join with us again. Bandula Gunawardana, the minister of Education of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on 14th September 2010. We welcome all who reach our website and we hope this will be a golden opportunity for our past pupils as well as the well-wishers to join hands with the college once again.
