Julianne Hansen has been known for years as a talented individual. Her skills in the area of pastel portraiture have proven time and time again that she can convey the most realistic features in a very short time. Now, she has expanded her skills in the areas of pottery, wildlife art and art celebrating our brave members of the armed forces.

Julianne also shares her knowledge with young people in weekly art classes.

Julianne Hansen has always been a creative sort. But no one really knew how creative until she started to paint. She sat down one day and painted a golden eagle in just 3 hours with nothing but a black and white reference photo in a book. She realized, there was a God-given talent deep inside and she simply had to pursue her passion.

This passion extends far beyond what she initially thought possible. Her pastel portraits are so lifelike that many feel the subject could actually speak. Each piece is unique. Each created by Julianne Hansen representing a unique expression of her love of art, captured in your medium of choice especially for you.

Together with her husband, Steven, the Hansen’s love to create functional and beautiful pottery.
