Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada

This institution was established in 1960 with four faculties like DEE,DCE,DME and DMETE. Subsequently, the AICTE New Delhi has approved two more courses of DAE and DECE totally six courses are being run with I and II Shifts. As about 1000 Students are studying both day scholars and hostellers.

Sufficient Teaching and Non-Teaching staff are also available for smooth running of this institution some of the Contract Lecturers were also appointed to attend II Shift classes by the Regional Joint Director of Technical Education, Kakinada.
