The college now has a three-storeyed building in its own site with a fairly good infrastructure. The college is nestled in a residential area with a beautiful garden in front of the college. The quiet, calm and serene atmosphere of the college instills a feeling of peace bereft of the noise, and the bustle of the traffic of the city. The college has grown in strength from a meager 22 students (I B.A. – 16, I B.Com ‐06) in the year 1985-86 to more than 800 during the year 2002-2003.
At present there are 2830 students studying in the college. The college is marching towards excellence under the able leadership of the dynamic Principal Prof .Muthuraju well supported by a team of qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff. The college offers B.A., B.Com. B.B.M and. B.Sc degrees and our stake holders largely comprise of the weaker sections of the society. We take keen interest in equipping the students with skills and knowledge needed to perform well in the society and profession. We always endeavour to achieve academic excellence with our limited resources. The college also offers Post graduate course in Kannada for which 17 students have enrolled their names.
