The enterprising trio- Hridayananda Konwar, Jugal Kishore Mahanta and Sunil Kumar Agarwalla, with a vision to set new trends in the “Bought Tea Leaf” manufacturing sector, decided to set up Damayanti Tea Industries.
The operations of the manufacturing unit started from September 17, 2003 and since then has treaded on a glorious path of quality and hygienic tea manufacturing, utilising the latest state-of-the-art technologies. Similarly, the same team, with a view to expand operations, got together with Ranjit Bora and set up the Rangdoi Tea Company in Golaghat. This unit started its manufacturing operations from April 4, 2007.
