Government First Grade College, Bettampady

Govt first grade college Puttur was established in the academic year 2007-08 by the order of the Govt of Karnataka. The College started functioning in the old building of Zilla Panchayat higher Primary School Nellikatte, near the K.S.R.T.C. bus stand, Puttur under the leadership of Sri. Ganapathi Bhat Kulamarva, the founder Principal of the college. Initially the college offered B.A. and B.B.M courses. In 2010-11 B.Com course has been introduced to meet the needs of the students of commerce education. With the efforts of the college The college offers THREE year Credit Based Degree courses in Arts, Management and Social Work of the Mangalore University. Students who have passed the PUC or 10+2 are eligible to take admission to any degree course based on their stream on learning in PU course. Courses Offered : Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Management, Bleacher of Science, Bachelor of Social Work .
